There are various lovely cafes and restaurants and all kinds of shops nearby the apartment, including a large bio market and an ordinary supermarket a 3-5 minute walk away. The stations Märkisches Museum, Heinrich-Heine and Jannowitzbruecke giving access to five major subway and train lines can be reached in 2-5 minute walk. It takes 5-10 minutes to walk to the historic Nikolaiviertel and to the Alexanderplatz (2 stops by subway). Boat trips through Berlin can be taken from the nearby riverbank.
