AREA
The apartment is located in a calm and green residential area in the district of Treptow, in the southeast of Berlin. The area feels relaxed and spacious, with lots of trees, water nearby and a more suburban atmosphere compared to the busy city center. For everyday shopping, there are several grocery stores such as Aldi, Netto, Lidl, REWE and EDEKA within walking distance or a short bike or tram/ bus ride, so daily errands are easy. Along Regattastraße and in the surrounding streets you’ll find a small selection of restaurants, cafés, bakeries and casual take-away places, mainly local and relaxed rather than touristy. Public transport is convenient: trams and bus stops close by, and Berlin-Grünau S-Bahn station connects you directly to other parts of the city; central Berlin can usually be reached in around 30 minutes.
