Exactly down my street, far 4 minutes walking there is the Tempelhofer Park, a ghost airport, full of history, 355 hectares of the former airport turned into the city's biggest park, a place to play for Berliners, a very big open space not contaminated. This sensation of freedom was the reason why I liked to wake up in this area, maybe you could love it too.
