Room for rent in Vienna Margareten, Vienna
### The apartment:
The apartment is just a 6-minute walk from the Margareten Gürtel subway station—excellent public transport connections and a very central location, only 5 mins with the U4 metro line to Charles Church in the city center. Many grocery stores and a post office are nearby.
The shared apartment is fully equipped, so you can move in immediately. Everything you need is already there—from pots and pans, spatulas, tongs, graters, cocktail glasses, and a blender to a kitchen scale and cleaning supplies (sponges, oven spray, etc.).
There is a small basement storage unit you may use, but only for smaller pieces of furniture or boxes. It is not large enough for bulky items.
### The room:
The room is approximately 17 m2 and faces the inner courtyard. It is fully furnished, so you can move in without bringing your own furniture. Everything is provided: blackout curtains, bedding, table, chair, lamp, scissors, tape, paper, printer, etc.
This setup is ideal for someone who is new to Vienna, does not have many belongings yet, and is looking for a temporary solution while searching for a long-term apartment for example.
---
### Wardrobe:
The freestanding wardrobe will be emptied so you have space for your clothes (e.g., shirts, trousers).
However, the built-in wardrobe with doors will remain **full**, as I will continue storing my personal items there. The freestanding wardrobe offers sufficient space for minimalist tenants, but not for someone with a very large wardrobe.
---
### Alcohol:
I have an alcohol collection from my bartending hobby. If you would like to use any of it, we can discuss this individually. I will document the inventory before handing over the room.
### Flatmates:
You would share the apartment primarily with **Arina (29)**. She speaks five languages, grew up in the U.S., loves traveling, and works as a linguist. She is tidy, uncomplicated, and brings a positive atmosphere.
There are two additional flatmates in their mid-30s, but they are rarely in the apartment:
* One is a pilot who lives in Berlin with his wife and baby and is only occasionally in Vienna for work.
* The other lives in Graz with her husband and uses her room only two to three times a month when she is in Vienna for work. You will hardly notice her.
---
### Cleanliness:
There is no cleaning service. We are all very tidy and clean up after ourselves. We expect you to be equally clean and respectful. Cleaning services are available at an additional cost.
Friends:
You are welcome to invite friends, but please check with the other flatmates in advance to make sure it works for everyone and to avoid disturbances. Consideration is especially important due to shift work (e.g., the pilot who gets up very early on days on which he is sleeping in Vienna).
Important:
* Non-smoking apartment — smoking is only allowed outside, not with open windows or in the room
* No pets!
### We are looking for:
a friendly, responsible flatmate who is a non-smoker, has good cleaning habits, and brings good energy. Preferably 25 years or older.
Interested?
Please send me a private message including the following information:
* From when to when do you need the room?
* A short introduction about yourself: profession, age, hobbies, habits (early riser or night owl), do you like cooking or prefer eating out/delivery, are you sociable or rather quiet and introverted?.
We look forward to hearing from you.
