It’s a cozy 9 m2 room, fully furnished with everything you need for comfortable student living – including a bed, mattress, desk, chair, wardrobe, bookshelves, mirror, pillow, blanket, sheets, and more.

The room is part of a 7-room shared flat (WG) organized by the Aloisius Student Dormitory, which is only available for students. The flat has a fully equipped shared kitchen with dishes, microwave, sandwich maker, dishwasher, and washing machine. There are also two bathrooms with showers.

Warmmiete (all-inclusive rent: electricity, heating, internet, etc.) is only 410Euro per month.

It’s a great and affordable place for any student looking for a comfortable and convenient home!

Location

One of my favorite things about this WG is the location! It’s in a quiet and cozy area in Vienna’s 3rd district (Landstraße), which is calm, safe, and well-connected.

The U3 stations Rochusgasse and Kardinal-Nagl-Platz are just a 5-minute walk away, and Rennweg S-Bahn station is only 6 minutes away on foot. You’re also very close to Landstraße Hauptstraße, where you’ll find all kinds of shops, supermarkets, and anything else you might need—everything is easily reachable by walking.

The city center is also nearby. You can usually walk to the 1st district in about 20–30 minutes, but there are also several bus stops very close to the building if you prefer public transport.

If you enjoy green spaces, there are lots of small parks in the area—and if you’re a fan of bigger parks like the Prater, it’s also nearby. I often went running there, and it only took me about 7 minutes to get there from the apartment!

Overall, it’s a peaceful and very convenient neighborhood for students.
Flat Atmosphere & WG Life

Everyone in this WG is a student, and it’s quite international — which is something I really love about it. I even ended up becoming good friends with some of the other tenants!

Everyone respects each other’s privacy, but we also often chat and spend time together, especially in the kitchen. The WG is diverse and always changing a bit, since some people graduate or move away and new students join. It keeps things fresh, and you get to meet people from all over the world.

Right now, we have tenants from Ecuador, Germany, Madagascar, India — and me from Iran (though I’m moving out soon 😄). So you’ll hear a mix of languages like Spanish, Hindi, French, and German, but we mostly communicate in English, with a bit of German here and there.

We all coexist really well, and even though everyone’s busy studying or working, we sometimes hang out together outside the dorm too. The overall vibe is friendly, respectful, and supportive — perfect for student life.
