The two rooms are fully furnished with new, large and very comfortable beds, duvets, pillows, bed linens, towels, spacious closet, desk, desk chair, work lamp, nightstand, table lamp, armchair and side table. Each room has in floor heating with a thermostat on the wall. Smoke detectors are in the apartment (including all bedrooms). The rooms have combination blackout and privacy shades. The tenants in the two rooms share a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub, entry with a coat and shoe rack, and laundry with a new washing machine and dryer. The apartment building has a central, paved garden, shared balconies, bicycle storage and a paved, rooftop garden with beautiful (almost 360 degree) views of the harbor and surrounding city. The apartment is located within a 5 minute walking distance of the city center, 20 minute walking distance from the University of Iceland and Reykjavik University, and in close proximity to a myriad of restaurants, cafés, museums, theaters, music halls, swimming pools, and speciality stores. Several large grocery stores (Bónus, Nettó, Krónan) and bus stops are located within a 2-5 minute walking distance. Nettó is open daily until midnight. The rooms would be perfect for foreign exchange/Masters/PhD students spending a semester or more in Reykjavik. Heating, electricity, water and high-speed internet included in rent. Monthly rent per room is 120 thousand ISK.
