Student studio for rent in Greater Paris (Orsay) – very affordable
I will be returning to my home country for an internship, but I would like to keep my lease, so I am subletting my student studio. Whatever rent I pay is exactly what you pay — I will not charge anything extra.
Location: Orsay Fleming Residence (Les Jardins de Fleming, 21 Rue André Maginot, 91400 Orsay, France).
10-minute walk to RER Orsay-Ville station, 5-minute walk to République bus stop, and 20 minutes by bus to Université Paris-Saclay.
Rental period: April 25 to August 30 this year (a little over four months). Preferably someone who can rent for the full period.
Rent: €438 per month, all utilities included (water, electricity, internet, heating). I will not charge extra — you simply pay exactly the rent amount. If you decide to rent, after viewing the apartment you will pay one month’s rent as a deposit to secure it, and the full remaining rent on the move-in day.
Security deposit: Two months’ rent, refunded on the day you move out.
Room details:
Third floor, west-facing with a large window. Equipped with an electric stovetop, refrigerator, private bathroom, 24-hour hot water, central heating and an electric heater, free internet, 15 square meters. Includes two five-tier cabinets and one small wardrobe. I can also lend you a Xiaomi electric scooter (full charge lasts about 20 km), which makes commuting convenient. Living experience:
The room is spacious and comfortable, neither too cold nor too hot, very quiet with no noise and no unpleasant smells. Appliances are complete and convenient to use. The private bathroom ensures privacy. Internet speed is 150 Mbps. The apartment is relatively new, not old. It’s not a five-star hotel, but it’s definitely comfortable enough. Although it faces west, there isn’t much sunlight (perhaps because France generally has limited sunshine). The room is on the third floor, slightly high up. The mattress is relatively soft and may sag a bit when sleeping; personally, I find it slightly uncomfortable, but adding a mat can solve the issue. It’s a 5-minute walk to Franprix supermarket and 20 minutes by bus to Carrefour hypermarket. All disadvantages have been honestly mentioned — your living experience will match the description above.
