The second person works in Berlin, lives between 2 cities and is therefore currently only in the apartment part-time. When not in the apartment, the other rooms, especially the living room with fireplace and balcony, can be shared. Cats occasionally visit.

The house was built in 1910 in the Art Nouveau style. All Art Nouveau elements have been preserved including the original wood floors, the entrance, paintings on the stairwell, ceiling details, paneled windows and parquet floors to the Art Nouveau doors and window handles.

Fichtestraße is a quiet and green street compared to most other inner-city streets. During the day, there is ample parking on the street, and is not a transit road. Fichtestraße connects Südstern and Gräfekiez, with numerous restaurants, cafés, and small shops perfect for shopping or for evening strolls. Hasenheide, one of Berlin's oldest parks, is just a five-minute walk away and boasts a small zoo, adventure playgrounds, and an open-air cinema. The adjacent Tempelhofer Feld offers numerous other recreational opportunities. On the other side, Fichtestraße leads via Grimmstraße directly to the Landwehrkanal, which, with its many restaurants, including restaurant boat, kayaking, a multitude of wildlife.
