Never transfer money unless these things are met!
1: Never transfer the deposit/rent for the home to a foreign bank.
2: Never transfer the deposit/rent for the home to someone you haven't met in person.
3: Never hand over the deposit/rent for the home until you have a contract signed by both parties.
4: Never transfer the deposit/rent for the property before you have checked whether the housing provider has the right to let the rental property in question.
