Room for rent in Badalona, Cataluña
About the apartment:
This is a very cozy and spacious apartment, very suitable for 3 people. It has natural light and lots of plants. It also has a patio with many plants and a balcony.
The materials used in the furniture and the decoration with natural elements have been chosen to promote harmony and well-being at home.
The apartment has one bathroom and one toilet, which are shared.
The building has an elevator.
About the bedrooms and the study room:
The bedrooms look out onto a skylight courtyard full of plants, so they are ideal for resting, as there is no noise from cars.
The study room is a common area equipped with desks and shelves for 3 people. It looks out onto a courtyard full of plants. This is a very pleasant and quiet place to study.
About the neighborhood:
The apartment is located in the center of Sant Adrià de Besòs and it is very close to all kind of services (post office, pharmacy, several supermarkets, fruit shops, bakeries, a gym, a municipal market, the public library, the Town Hall, the public health center and the police office). In addition, on the last Saturday of every month there is a farmers market in which you can find their organic products, right in front of the apartment.
Very close to my apartment there is a pedestrian street full of terraces where you can eat the daily menu or tapas. It is a very lively neighborhood.
And a 2-minutes walk from my apartment there is the Besòs River Park, where you can go for a walk, jog or have a picnic.
About the transport:
My neighborhood is very well connected with various types of transportation that take you to several neighborhoods in Barcelona:
- metro: purple line L2 (Artigues/Sant Adrià stop)
- tram: T4 and T5
- train: RENFE R1 and RG1
- bus: B14, B20, B21, B23, M26, M30 and H10
- night buses: N2 and N6
- bike: AMBici
About the tenant I am looking for:
I am looking for a respectful person who can take care of the things in the apartment, who can keep the common areas clean after use, be careful not to scratch furniture or floor surfaces and respect the calm atmosphere that characterizes this property.
It is also important that the incoming tenant can respect some coexistance rules, in order to assure a harmonious coexistence between the people who live in the apartment:
- the common areas must be kept clean after use, so that the other tenants who live in the apartment can also find them clean.
- eating in the bedroom, on the sofa or on the hammocks located the living room is not allowed to avoid stains on the upholstery or on the furniture.
- the 3 people who live in the apartment have to collaborate in the cleaning tasks, once a week. In present, every week every tenant has some concrete cleaning tasks which are rotatory (as shown in one of the pictures).
- shoes worn outside must be put away in a shoe rack upon entering the apartment, as slippers or socks can be worn in the apartment (the entire floor of the apartment is parquet, except in the kitchen, the bathroom and the toilet, which is tiled).
- in order to respect the sleep of the tenants who live in the apartment, silence is required from 11:00 p.m. onwards, which implies being careful not to make noise when opening and closing doors, not having phone calls after this time, or playing music after this time (the television can be used, as long as it is set to an appropriate volume and the living room doors are closed).
- due to the drought situation that Catalonia is experiencing, the Catalan government has imposed some restrictions on the use of water on the inhabitants, which implies having showers of no more than 5 minutes duration.
- it is advisable to make responsible use of electricity (example: turning off the lights if they are not being used).
- smoking or consuming drugs is not allowed in any area of the property, both inside or outside.
About the rental price:
The rental costs 600 € per month + shared expenses (water, electricity, wi-fi and gas).
I also ask for a deposit equivalent to 1 month's rent in advance, which will pay the last month of your stay here, and a deposit of another 1 month's rent in case the tenant causes any damage to the apartment .
I hope you have a very good stay at my home!!
